In a Nutshell
Hi there, I'm Jamie. With a marketer's mind for strategy and a photographer's eye for detail, I design user experiences that deliver real-world results.
Professional Life
I’m currently pursuing Interactive Media Design in Ottawa and will graduate in 2026.
Before diving into design, I worked in marketing, where I led cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns, optimize workflows, and scale user engagement both nationally and globally.
One of my most memorable achievements was representing my company at the United Nations’ Chinese Language Day in New York. There, I designed and executed engaging activities that deepened user insights and strengthened our brand presence on a global stage.
This background has solidified my ability to bridge the gap between business goals and user needs, fueling my passion for creating intuitive and impactful products.
Personal Life & My Approach
As a photographer, I’ve trained my eye to notice the small details, frame compelling stories, and understand perspective—skills I bring to every UX challenge.
When I’m not behind a screen or a lens, you’ll find me hiking in nature, experimenting in the kitchen, crafting handmade creations, or exploring new AI tools. These activities keep my curiosity alive and my perspective fresh.
What's Next
My passion lies in creating accessible and inclusive designs. I am actively seeking a Winter 2026 co-op opportunity where I can contribute my unique blend of skills to build products that are equitable and empowering for everyone.
